Liability for content and links

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws. We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point at which a concrete infringement becomes known; on becoming aware of such content we remove it immediately.

Our site contains links to external websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider or operator is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. Those pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking and no unlawful content was apparent. Permanent monitoring without concrete evidence of an infringement is not reasonable. On becoming aware of infringements we remove such links immediately.

Content and works on these pages created by the operator are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, editing, distribution and any kind of use beyond the limits of copyright require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are permitted for private, non-commercial use only.

What is processed

This website is a single static page. It sets no cookies, embeds no third-party fonts, maps or media, and uses no advertising services. There is no form, no user account and no login.

• Server log data. When the page is called up, our hosting provider processes the data technically required to deliver it: IP address, date and time of the request, the file requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website. This data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after 30 days at the latest.
• Email contact. If you write to us at the address above, we process your message and contact details in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet statutory retention periods.
• Reach measurement. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which countries and referring sites visitors come from. The service works without cookies, does not fingerprint devices and stores no data that could identify you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site is read.
• Local browser storage. The page remembers your language and appearance choice in your own browser. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

Recipients and transfers

Hosting and reach measurement are provided by Cloudflare under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Where processing takes place outside the EU and the EEA, it is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for us the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach.

Encryption

All traffic on this site is TLS encrypted. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar.

This page is provided in English and German. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
